I believe in our innate capacity to grow and heal. Sometimes we need a little help along the way. I support that process with spacious curiosity and compassion. I am most passionate about working with adults struggling with relational or complex trauma, attachment issues, self-worth, and parenting. Deep connection to nature, to oneself, and to others is a large part of my personal and professional philosophies. To that end, I offer walking therapy sessions for those who prefer to be outside in nature to explore their inner awareness.
Alongside talk therapy, I work from a somatic and humanistic framework that explores the mind-body connection as it relates to your hopes for reconnecting with your truest nature. I primarily use Internal Family Systems Therapy as our navigation system and am IFS-informed with multiple trainings under my belt. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and often use this approach in tandem with IFS work with my clients in order to process overwhelming life experiences.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy in person or online. My approach integrates mindfulness, attachment-focused, and somatic techniques. I work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, big life transitions, self-worth, addictions, and those wanting to explore their identity.
Ecotherapy
Therapy, outdoors! Let’s meet out on the trail for a walk or on a cozy park bench, tapping into the healing power of nature. There’s something about being outside, and incorporating movement, that can open ourselves up to more readily and confidently explore our inner world.
Trauma Therapy
Having a trauma-informed lens in therapy means recognizing that some of your difficulties may have their roots in trauma. Our brains and bodies are deeply influenced by those experiences. When we acknowledge, understand, and reframe our traumatic experiences, we can get unstuck from patterns that no longer serve us.

I believe we are all doing our best based on our experiences and beliefs. Throughout our lives we find ways to survive and protect ourselves. And though it may work for a time, at some point, those patterns stop being effective. We aren’t able to block out the pain anymore and the ways we learned to survive are getting in the way of how we want to live. Even when we realize this and we want to change, we find ourselves stuck in these old patterns and can’t seem to think our way out.
This is where trauma therapy comes in. From a place of compassion and curiosity, we begin to understand where these patterns originate. Often there are parts of us that are stuck in the past and react out of fear and pain. Once we heal these parts of ourselves, we get the freedom to let go of the old patterns and find new ways of being in the world that feel safe, supportive, and empowering.
I am an open, inclusive, and affirming human + therapist, and strive to be aware of my own implicit biases while continuously working toward cultural competency. I aim to create a safe and judgment-free space to all humans, and welcome diversity including all body sizes, abilities, races, sexualities, genders, and religions/spiritualities (or lack thereof). Ultimately, YOU are the expert of your own life. I see my role as simply being a trained and gentle guide to help you along the way to explore, uncover, accept (and—dare I say—fully embrace!) the beautiful human being that your are, in all your complexity. Consider this your invitation to discover your true nature and restore trust in yourself.
